Are You Prepared to Trust? – Teachings from This Moment Is Your Miracle
Somebody once wrote me, asking, “There are always a large amount of teachers and students of A Course in Miracles out there, but there should be something that you’ve hooked into, or caught onto? Something which triggered a transformation or even a major healing. So, that which was it?”
“Trust,” I said.
Think of your lifetime because it appears to be nowadays in terms of the story acim related books . How can we answer the question; “Who do I trust? Where do I think my safety lies? How will I be sustained? Who is my source?” So once we talk about the final stage to the awakening being pure trust, it’s simply about disengaging and withdrawing our faith and rely upon many of these made-up concepts, beliefs and ideas in the world.
It’s similar to building a big house of cards, stacking using one card following the other. A good wind arrives and poof, it’s only blown over. It can’t even stand only a little gust of wind. It’s so frail. It’s so temporary. It’s so transitory; It absolutely was this sense of placing rely upon the Spirit and withdrawing rely upon anything else; dozens of issues that were identified and learned as worldly accomplishments. Why should we rely upon those? Have they ever brought us lasting peace and happiness? Are they really trustworthy?It surely comes right down to the essence of who is my cousin? Could it be Spirit or matter? Could it be Spirit or form? Furthermore how most of us have tried trusting people?
Has anybody tried that certain?So you are asking the question, “When someone dies or appears to be dying of starvation, what does that say about their mind?” Where all of this is heading would be to the awareness that everything is mental. What this awakening will show you is that everything is mental and that everything is just a hallucination. This is a world of ideas and what we call manifest reality, isn’t reality at all. There is no distinction between thought and form. Jesus has to build his whole workbook in A Course In Miracles on making the text between thought and form. His lessons start with, “Nothing I see means anything,” (W-1) and, “I’ve given everything I see all this is it’s for me.” (W-2) Then, He works his way as much as number 4, “These thoughts don’t mean anything&rdquo ;.Now, He’s discussing thoughts. First He’s discussing perception, then about our thoughts, then He comes home with lessons 5,6,7,8,9 … perception, perception, perception, perception, perception … and then number 10, “My thoughts don’t mean anything.” You will see he’s wanting to melt everything together and show the final veil or stage of awakening, that will be trust.
The Holy Spirit uses time for you to teach us there is no such thing as time, to take us back to that particular timeless moment that’s the gateway to eternity. He uses symbols to instruct us they are all illusions and they are all equally meaningless. That’s precisely the method of operation of Holy Spirit. The Spirit has to utilize your brain to loosen the attachments from the investment in all sorts of things. What kind of things would you invest in, nowadays?
