Are You Ready to Trust? – Teachings from This Moment Is Your Miracle

Somebody once wrote me, asking, “There are always a large amount of teachers and students of A Course in Miracles on the market, but there should be something that you’ve hooked into, or caught onto? A thing that triggered a transformation or even a major healing. So, what was it?”

“Trust,” I said.

Consider your daily life since it seems to be these days with regards to the story. Just how do we answer the question; “Who do I trust? Where do I think my safety lies? How will I be sustained? Who is my source?” So whenever we talk about the last stage of the awakening being pure trust, it’s simply about disengaging and withdrawing our faith and trust in many of these made-up concepts, beliefs, and ideas in the world. It’s kind of like making a big house of cards, stacking on a single card after the other. A good wind comes along and poof, it’s only blown over. It can’t even stand only a little gust of wind. It’s so frail. It’s so temporary. It’s so transitory;  It absolutely was this sense of placing trust in the Spirit and withdrawing trust in anything else; dozens of things that were identified and learned as worldly accomplishments. Why should we trust in those? Have they ever brought us lasting peace and happiness? Are they really trustworthy? It surely comes down seriously to the essence of who’s my buddy? Is it Spirit or matter? Is it Spirit or form? Furthermore how most of us have tried trusting people? Has anybody tried this one?So you are asking the question, “If someone dies or seems to be dying of starvation, what does that say about their mind?” Where this is heading would be to the awareness that everything is mental. What this awakening can tell you is that everything is mental and that everything is just a hallucination. acim  This is a world of ideas and what we call manifest reality, is not reality at all. There’s no distinction between thought and form. Jesus has to construct his whole workbook in A Course In Miracles on making the bond between thought and form. His lessons start with, “Nothing I see means anything,” (W-1) and, “I’ve given everything I see all this is it’s for me.” (W-2) Then, He works his way around number 4, “These thoughts don’t mean anything&rdquo ;.Now, He’s talking about thoughts. First He’s talking about perception, then about our thoughts, then He comes home with lessons 5,6,7,8,9 … perception, perception, perception, perception, perception … and then number 10, “My thoughts don’t mean anything.” You will see he’s wanting to melt everything together and show the last veil or stage of awakening, that will be trust.

The Holy Spirit uses time and energy to teach us there’s no such thing as time, to take us back compared to that timeless moment that is the gateway to eternity. He uses symbols to show us that they are all illusions and that they are all equally meaningless. That’s the way of operation of Holy Spirit. The Spirit has to work well with your head to loosen the attachments from the investment in a myriad of things. What sort of things do you invest in, these days?
